Uncle Ron was kind enough to give us fifteen chicks! Sweet! (Can you tell Taylor's excited?)

We've been looking at buying chickens for a long time and wanting them in our food storage.

The kids love them. Maren is the bravest at catching the chicks.

Spencer had a lot of fun creating the design and building the coop.

The board at the top slides open and there's a door on the bottom if you can see it.

I am surprised by how stupid chickens are.

And by how much they eat and drink.

In the future, if you come over for dinner, we might be serving you some chicken! LOL
