my precious garden

corn--4 rows

snap peas

left to right (weeds, carrots, onions, more weeds)

squash --at least 30 plants

beans

tomatoes

We have had a very successful first garden.
We sure did over plant though!
The only thing that didn't come up is the broccoli.
We are enjoying snap peas and squash right now.
We are looking forward to watermelon, green beans, onion, carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumber, pumpkin and corn.
The secret for me is the TIMER on my sprinkler. It makes all the difference in the world.

I can't even tell you how exciting this is for us.
The kids are excited about it all too.
Great way to get kids eating vegetables!

wow. impressive!
Now, when you say "my precious garden" you mean "Spencer & My precious garden", right? You aren't the only one doing all the work, right? Please tell me you aren't making that pregnant body of yours do all the work!

I am so jealous of your garden! All I can seem to grow here in AZ is cactus! That is funny too about Maren's preferences....Elly is the same way so her daddy changes the diapers too! I'm ok with that :)

Very cool garden! I bet you love having a place with more space so you have room to grow a garden!

Wow cool! We just planted our garden on Monday and now it is pouring and the garden is a complete flood. So we will just have to wait and see if we get anything this year!

Very nice! I wish we'd been more on top of it. We just planted our garden a week ago, so we'll see how much we get out of our first garden!

Well if planting a garden makes kids eat veggies, then I better get on it right away! Yours looks great! I am so impressed at all of my blog friends' beautiful gardens!
